T6061 Aluminum Whorls and Kevlar belts - Highest performing tension system on the market, required at the higher speeds our wheels easily produce.
Active Air Cooling - Bobbins have built-in air cooling to keep the whorl cool and prevent changes in take-up due to heat buildup. Another Daedalus exclusive design feature.
Hardened Chromium Axle - Axles are made from linear rod that is as straight as it can possibly be and highly resistant to wear.
High-Quality Bearings - All our wheels have sealed bearings on the flyer, as well as in each bobbin. They never have to be greased or maintained in any way and offer the lowest friction and sound solution for a responsive spinning experience.
Carbon Fiber Skeletal Flyers - Carbon fiber for the flyer arms ensures that the flyer is not only strong and lightweight, but also aerodynamically designed for both efficiency and quietness. This lightweight flyer design is the cornerstone of the sensitive tactile experience our wheels provide.
Oversized Motors - By selecting larger motors that exceed the requirements of the wheel, we ensure that the motor always operates at maximum efficiency while accommodating all spinning speeds and techniques. Simply put, they do not overheat and they do not fail.
Vibration Dampening Systems - Our wheel designs include several Daedalus exclusive vibration-dampening features that ensure smooth operation without vibration and provide stability with no wheel walking even at high speeds.
